Below is a brief overview of the changes.\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\nThe updates are based on calculations of current fertilizer prices over 2023.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ba344dc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ba344dc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>N-containing fertilizer<\/strong> had an average cost in the 2022 growing season (March-August) of \u20ac78.52\/100 kg, this compares with the average price of KAS in the 2023 growing season of \u20ac34.11\/100 kg. This is a decrease in the cost price of KAS by 56.6%.\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\n<strong>K-containing fertilizer<\/strong> had an average cost price of \u20ac71.52\/100 kg in growing season 2022 (March - August), this compares with the average fertilizer price of Kali 60 in growing season 2023 of \u20ac64.38\/100 kg. This is a decrease in the cost price of Kali 60 by 10%.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f9adf84 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f9adf84\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*! elementor - v3.20.0 - 13-03-2024 *\/\n.elementor-heading-title{padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title[class*=elementor-size-]>a{color:inherit;font-size:inherit;line-height:inherit}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-small{font-size:15px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-medium{font-size:19px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-large{font-size:29px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-xl{font-size:39px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-xxl{font-size:59px}<\/style><h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Updates in Farmdesk<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-033e67e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"033e67e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">In order to keep your economic figures up to date, we have performed a more detailed costing in Farmdesk for all crops in which the individual elements, being slurry and N- and K-containing fertilizers, are accurately depicted. The fertilizer costs consist, on the one hand, of the (contract) work for spreading slurry and, on the other hand, the purchase of fertilizer and its spreading.\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\nThis approach results in fertilizer prices for the common crops of grass, corn and beets:<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\n<\/p><ul>\n \t<li>For the<strong> grass cultivation <\/strong>the new total fertilizer cost is \u20ac635 per hectare, of which \u20ac200 per hectare is for slurry application, \u20ac105 for potassium purchase, \u20ac260 for nitrogen and \u20ac70 for fertilizer application.\nDue to the <strong>removal of the derogation<\/strong> will the <strong>attention to potassium<\/strong> increase, therefore the requirement of K has been calculated to a minimum of 20 g\/kg DS. This combined with a yield of 12 tons DS\/ha we arrive at a requirement of 240 kg K\/ha.<\/li>\n \t<li>In the <strong>maize cultivation <\/strong>the new full fertilization cost is \u20ac286 per hectare. This includes \u20ac200 per hectare for the application of slurry and \u20ac45 for the purchase of potassium. The price for nitrogen application is \u20ac41, which does not include the cost of spreading since it assumes that the entire gift is applied at seeding.<\/li>\n \t<li>For <strong>beets <\/strong>the new whole fertilizer cost is \u20ac670 per hectare, including \u20ac200 per hectare for slurry application, \u20ac232 for potassium purchase, \u20ac168 for nitrogen and \u20ac70 for fertilizer application.<\/li>\n<\/ul><p class=\"translation-block\">\n(Note 1: on pre-crop farms, we only assume fertilizer use. Note 2: for organic farms, we do not include fertilizer increases).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2425d93 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2425d93\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Getting started in Farmdesk<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a183599 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a183599\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">In Farmdesk, we use these fertilization costs in two places.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\n<\/p><ol>\n \t<li>When you create a new <strong>adds feed material from its own cultivation<\/strong>, its cost price will be calculated automatically based on fertilizer costs, among other factors. Thus, for the new silo corn from 2023, the cost price will be lower this one from 2022. <strong>Accordingly, cultivation costs are automatically adjusted for feedstuffs entered into Farmdesk after 01\/06\/2023.<\/strong> <strong>Cultivation costs will also be adjusted in historical feedlists.<\/strong><\/li>\n \t<li>You can set your company-specific cultivation costs yourself, see screenshots below.\n<i>Note: If you had previously adjusted your cultivation costs, they will be recalculated using the same calculation rules as above.<\/i><\/li>\n \t<li>In the crop &amp; feed planner, you can optimize a crop plan and associated feed plan to feed your animals year-round in the most cost-efficient way.
