In Farmdesk we have therefore adjusted the standard cost prices. Below is a brief overview per cost item.\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\nThe updates are based on a survey, inquiries with contract workers and own insights.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dd0a716 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"dd0a716\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<style>\/*! elementor - v3.20.0 - 13-03-2024 *\/\n.elementor-heading-title{padding:0;margin:0;line-height:1}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title[class*=elementor-size-]>a{color:inherit;font-size:inherit;line-height:inherit}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-small{font-size:15px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-medium{font-size:19px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-large{font-size:29px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-xl{font-size:39px}.elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title.elementor-size-xxl{font-size:59px}<\/style><h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Construction<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-033e67e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"033e67e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">The establishment cost includes the seed and all (contract) work for seedbed preparation (plowing, harrowing...) and the sowing itself.\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\nIn Farmdesk, we increased the total <strong>planting cost by 10%<\/strong> (~50% of the cultivation cost is the seed crop which on average increases by 5%, the other ~50% are contracting\/own labor which increases by 15%).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0399594 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"0399594\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Fertilization<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d8f528e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d8f528e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">Fertilizer costs include, on the one hand, the (contract) work for spreading <strong>drift manure <\/strong>and, on the other hand, the purchase of fertilizer and its application.\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\nOn average, the cost of spreading the <strong>slurry <\/strong>~185 euros. This (labor) cost was increased by <strong>15%<\/strong>.\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\nThe remaining costs are related to <strong>fertilizer<\/strong>. N-containing fertilizer is currently up to 5x more expensive than last year. K- and P-containing fertilizer are up to 3x more expensive. We assume that <strong>grassland<\/strong> receives the same amount of fertilizer as previous years, assuming a price increase of <strong>250%<\/strong> (x3.5) (not all fertilizer was purchased at current peak prices). For all <strong>other crops<\/strong> (such as corn, for example), we assume that less fertilizer was used, so here we assume an increase of <strong>75%<\/strong> (x1.75).\n<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">\n(Note 1: on pre-crop farms, we only assume fertilizer use. Note 2: for organic farms, we do not include fertilizer increases).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3e5d88e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3e5d88e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Crop Protection<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-74d0092 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"74d0092\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">Crop protection includes sprays and the associated (contract) work. In Farmdesk, we increased the total <strong>crop protection cost by 25%<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-13059d8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"13059d8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Harvest &amp; preservation<\/h3>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-414735f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"414735f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">Harvest costs include the (labor) work such as chopping, mowing... Preservation costs include the (labor) work for driving silage, preservatives, plastic... For example, for the first cut of grass from 2022, the cost price will be higher than for 2021.
